Designed by a Teacher and parent to foster the learning of shapes through play and positive reinforcement! Learn shapes, enjoy puzzles, and have fun learning! Thanks for taking a look at my app! I designed this because, as a parent, I wanted an app that would teach my kids shapes in a fun and positive way. Giving kids the opportunity to learn in a guided way, and then also including a fun shape-oriented activity is the best way to build retention of new concepts. In this app your children will enjoy the following steps to shape learning: Learn Each group of shapes will be presented individually, shown to the child, and then a description of that shape will be given. "This is a Circle. A Circle is Round. Touch the Circle." Touch After presentation of the shapes, your child will be asked to touch the correct shape from a group of three shapes. "Touch the Circle." Match After touching shapes, your child will be asked to use their finger to drag and drop to match shapes. This is a free play area where they can do any shapes in any order. Play After completing the learning exercises, children will be able to choose from 16 different shape puzzles to further reinforce their learning through play! Shapes Included in the app cover all essential Pre-K shapes that children should know and be able to identify before kindergarten.
